Honolua Bay
Honokohau, Maui
Part of the Mokuleia Marine Life Conservation District. Small sand beach, snorkeling, scuba diving, and surfing. Numerous fish, coral formations are fantastic. Right side of the bay has the best snorkeling and diving scenery.

Punalau Beach

Windmill Beach)
Honokohau, Maui
Great place to watch high surf, especially in winter. During calm seas, shallow snorkeling. Swimming and snorkeling are only advisable during very calm seas. Extremely strong currents form during high seas. Land owned by Maui Land and Pineapple but public access tolerated.

Slaughterhouse Beach
Honokohau, Maui
Gets its name from a long-gone slaughterhouse that was above the cliffs. Great for snorkeling, scuba diving, bodysurfing, and enjoying its natural seclusion. Some shade in the morning, none in afternoon. View of Moloka’i in morning is stunning.
